Didactic Proposals - School Year 2011/2012

Besides safeguarding and preserving the natural, environmental, and landscape features of Gran Bosco, the Park Authority goals include the organization of the territory with scientific, cultural, didactic, and recreational purposes.
Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Park Authority, aware of the educational value of the Protected Area and the Ecomuseum Colombano Romean, in collaboration with Gruppo Guide Natura, an association collaborating with the Park to organize didactic activities and visits, suggests didactic and environmental education projects for schools at any grade.
The didactic proposals aim at promoting the knowledge of the territory, its naturalistic and historical aspects through a survey based on observation, direct contact, deductive reasoning, the use and enhancement of the five senses. The themes have been selected according to the age and school programs, in order to guarantee a gradual and non repetitive approach.

The Park offers an ECONOMIC BONUS for kindergartens, elementary and middle schools, and for the first two years of the secondary schools of Regione Piemonte that will organize during the school year 2011/2012 a one-day trip to Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Park and to the Ecomuseum Colombano Romean.

Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Park Authority has been chosen as Didactic Center of Upper Susa Valley within the project A.L.CO.TRA. "Dani Beni faro alla valorizzazione del sistema dei beni ambientali e culturali nella Alte Valli", coordinated by Comunità Montana Valle Susa e Valsangone and has the opportunity to promote the school tourism in its own territory thanks to a contribution of Euros 50.00 for the first 40 classes (each school institute can suggest one only didactic trip for each class) that, within 30th November 2011, will reserve didactic activities, guided visits, and workshops to carry out during the school year 2011/2012 in the Protected Area and the Ecomuseum Colombano Romean.
